1N5 of Us: Changing the Mental Health Landscape

Ep. 28 - Preston Brown Foundation

Today, we sat down with Patrice McDowell-Brown, MBA and Executive Director of the Preston Brown Foundation, Inc. In June 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Patrice became certified, by the National Council of Behavioral Health, as a Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor. Her passion for mental wellness and love of sports drive the foundation's mission. In our conversation, we learn about her son Preston’s mental health journey, the founding of the Preston Brown Foundation, and some of the amazing work they are doing in the community. We hope you enjoy!
